Leonardo, a global high-tech company and one of the key players in Aerospace, Defense and Security, made a huge announcement at the 2017 Paris air show that should highly interest the military regarding aerospace parts. The brand new Mirach 40 otherwise known as the M-40 is an unmanned aircraft system based on the company’s already existing Mirach 100/5 target drone which already has acquired a place as the common threat simulator of the international Armed Forces (Military) including France, Italy and the U.K. The M-40 is a remotely-piloted aerial system (RPAS) that assists the Military in training by simulating a variety of airborne threat targets. This drone allows the military to “shoot down” the reusable M-40 in practical situations, allowing them to train and prepare a wide variety of weapon systems including Aerospace. This aerospace drone will allow customers such as the military to ‘do more with less’ by providing an aerospace performance like the Mirach 100/5 but at significantly reduced cost comparable to competitor, making it the perfect option for the military to use for training.
